Specialized Counseling Services offers individual therapy services to help clients address a wide range of mental health concerns to improve overall well-being. Some areas of focus may include depression, anxiety, anger, relationship issues, low self-esteem, and/or emotional instability.

We all experience stress in various ways: relationships with family and friends, work, loss, and other life changes or transitions. If you already experience mental health challenges then additional stress can increase symptoms. You can also develop mental health symptoms as a result of stressors. Either way, seeking help when you need it takes courage. Therapy can help you learn to navigate your stressors and take care of yourself.

Common signs of stress:

Seeking therapy can be a difficult and vulnerable decision. You can expect a safe and welcoming environment where you will feel heard, understood, and respected. Together we will work closely to create a personalized treatment plan that addresses your specific needs and goals. Some of the therapeutic approaches utilized to support these goals include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Somatic Experiencing® (SE), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Radically Open Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (RO-DBT) among others.
